@buruza1234 Thank you so much! She had open heart surgery in December and hasn't been right since, brought her in last night because she could breath, found out part of the problem is Sepsis, a very bad infection but antibiotics are helping already and she's doing better. Thank you so much! 😘

@buruza1234 Hi Ruth, how sweet of you to ask, thank you! It's my mom, she's doing great, she looks and feels like a new person already. They have been giving her some pretty strong antibiotics and they're working! So far they say she will be there till Thursday. Thank you again for asking! ; )

My mom was supposed to go home yesterday but she didn't, her white cell count was too high again so they're trying to find out why now. I really appreciate all your kind words. Hi Allison! Is your mom at home? How is she feeling? I have my dad, well he lives in my country with my oldest brother. He is 83 years old. Two years ago he got knee replacement surgery. Thank God he is fine and he is doing his exercises every day :)

@buruza1234 You are the sweetest person! My mom is doing 100% better, she should be going home tomorrow. I think the infection is under control now, just have to still figure out her breathing issues. That knee replacement surgery is no joke! I know a few people that have had that, hope I never do. It's nice that our parents have their children around to take care of them. You're the best! ; )

@buruza1234 Hi Ruth! Yes, my mom went home on Wednesday. I actually just got home from visiting her. My daughter and I went up to see her and took my mom's newest great grandson, which is my grandson, my mom was really missing the baby. She's doing great! Still on antibiotics for a week but she feels like a new person. Thank you again for being so thoughtful and caring, you really are a doll!

I work at the YMCA and I have seen a lot of our Active Older Adults get better after a surgery or health problems, when they’re surrounded by their loved ones.
