hanna225372 @ukulelelizzy thanks for your comment. I am concerned as I have had three people tell me to email them and offer to send me a check for item. One woman even admitted she runs a shop and resells things. I am not interested in dealing with people who don’t want to use the app as intended. Is there a way to avoid this.

ukulelelizzy @hanna225372 You are wise to avoid transactions outside Poshmark, as they can’t help you if you get scammed. You can visit the sellers page and in the upper right hand corner where you see the 3 dots, click and you’ll see an option for block user and report user. Under report user you’ll be given a chance to select “spam” or “transactions outside Poshmark” (either would apply)...

ukulelelizzy ...This will let Poshmark know that the seller is a scammer. As long as you steer clear of taking them up on any offer of exchanges of information you’ll be OK.

hanna225372 I am not a fan of Poshmark. Too much minutia and people want things for nothing. Our community has an online forum and I sold most of my stuff in one day for more than I posted for on here. No fees! No con artists!
