designercrafted hi, just an fyi, i wash my own cashmere sweaters in the washing machine on gentle and then lay flat to dry. they come out smelling great and hold up well. most sweaters can be washed by hand in mild soap as well. this should be too based on my experience. however if you want things to last longer(cotton does last a long time) its best to dry clean generally speaking. hope that helps you re the lauren sweater. btw i know hamden from a long time ago..

ryintennis @designercrafted Oh cool! did you used to live in CT? I always hang my sweaters and polos up to dry after machine wash. Sweater is cotton?

designercrafted yes i used to live there. pretty time of year before the leaves fall especially. yes its all cotton..there is a photo of the label in the listing if you scroll down a little.
