uptownflips @sabrina14521 Not really. All convos are open for all to see and respond. Social transparency. 😁 It does mean there’s more folks to help answer questions and provide best practices etc. It has been super helpful for me at least.

sabrina14521 @adjiscloset oh okay! So I noticed some sellers have a 5 for $20 deal. Do you bundle 5 items to get that price?

uptownflips @sabrina14521 Yes, for example if you add five qualifying items from that seller’s closet to your bundle, then make an offer to the seller for $20, that seller should accept your offer. Alternatively, the seller may notice that you’ve liked five items, create a bundle for you, then send you an offer for $20. Poshmark does not yet have a way to set certain items to be part of a specific sale so bundling is it.

uptownflips @sabrina14521 Hard, absolutely not. Time consuming, very much so. It’s very different from other platforms where you can just list stuff and forget about it and they’ll just sell. From what I’ve noticed since on here, the biggest #1 advice I can give is share your own closet as many times as you have time to. Do share backs of other closets as well, but yours should be first. When you share your own listings, you push it up in the search results and give it more visibility.

uptownflips @sabrina14521 The more you share, the more visibility. The flip side, when you don’t share, your stuff can get lost in the search unless folks are specific about what they’re looking for. I went on vacay for three days and didn’t do any self-sharing and my closet was like crickets. 🦗

uptownflips @sabrina14521 Grab 30 things from your closet that you haven’t worn lately. Even stuff that you “might” wear one day. Use your phone to take pics, post with a short title and description to start. Share them until you feel like you’re gonna fall asleep on your phone. 😴 Do that at least three times a day for a week. See what happens. Worst case, you’ve spring cleaned your closet. Best case, by this time next year you’ll consider making Poshmark your full-time job. 😊
