I am intrigued with the horses and ran across a site describing them that my niece works for... https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/the-kelpies-grangemouth-scotland. My husband asked about trying traveling again, since covid, and I am itching to visit these horses let alone Scotland. Not yet but hopefully soon.

And then hop over to Reykjavik, it so cheap on planes in Europe. We are fans of the Icelandic murder shows/ films and the landscape looks quite bleak { which I like}. Wish I could post a pic! ...muddy_marilyn on IG..ok medieval dress ins😱🎉I was given a couple on the foreshore and they slipped right through my clumsy hands- and fwiw I have a tiny envelope I need to send but it’s been living on my kitchen island for a good length of time! And fwiw go to rekjavik be forewarned if you need to change planes there allow lots of time- airport bigger Than u think! 🙄🤓

@mossblownlass Quite right! The "Tartan-y thing" has been done with Jamie Hueghen (or however you spell his name -- what a cutie!) and so glad you dig Annie Lennox. I use her interpretations as the height of "mining" a lyric when I teach Voice. When she sang "Every Time We Say Goodbye" on the AIDS-CD Red, Hot and Blue I couldn't stop crying. WHAT an artist!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live here in the states now. Beautiful CT/ Boston. I’m glad you were able to live there for a while, Tay region is lovely. I am from sunny Glasgow, we are hoping to go this year on holiday too.

What a cool closet and aesthetic! Great to read that you're from Scotland. I'm from Dublin so I think our tastes are a little different to the American "norm" for antiques. I love Antiques Roadtrip, especially when they visit Scotland! There are so many amazing vintage/antique artisans particularly in the art nouveau period, from Scotland! I always love learning something new from their trips!

I came to the conclusion I can’t wear green tartan so listed the gorgeous Scottish Cuff/ruff kit from the woman whose kilts have gone to royal events! When I wear green people think I’m ill 😂. I really want to get back to Glasgow Fwiw the Rosetti show was packed) but so good I melted into all the ethereal beauty for a few precious hours! And don’t get me started on being able to stay near the Thames!!!💙youI’ll return

several years ago at British library treasures exhibit entrance I spied Lucy Worsley from afar & she stopped filming and motioned for me to come over for a selfie! Think Twas my most liked photo ever🤓
