tapaco Sorry that you were not happy. I do not know why the vest would have been wet as it has been hanging in our closet. My sincere apologies.

shume5 @tapaco Thank you for your response. Yeah, the tops are great. So is the vest, except for the dampness and smell. Literally wet though not dripping. My thought was that maybe you washed it and thru it in the dryer long enough for the shell to feel dry while the down inside remained wet? Then during shipping that wet down just mildewed. The inside of the plastic bag you wrapped it in was even wet to the touch. I'm soaking it in vinegar solution; it's so cute, I hope it works. Be well!

tapaco @shume5 .....I really am at a loss as to why it was wet but I am really really sorry it happened. Please know I would never send anything out in that condition intentionally. I really hope soaking it will work!🥴🙂

shume5 Nice of you to follow up! The vinegar worked on the odor, then I washed it and dried it with a tennis shoe. It took a lot of drying time to get it thoroughly dry. But it seemed to work. It made me wonder: are you sure no one washed it before shipping? Sometimes while I was treating it, it seemed dry but I'd still find clumps of wet down. If this happened to you, those wet clumps could've caused this issue. Just wondering. Anyway, all is well that ends well. Thank you!
