salmamassoud @stuntonabudget Hi, sorry I am new here. I read that you wrote price is a placeholder and it is outside the app so I had no idea what to do. So I looked at other similar belts on PM and found the range between 200-500 and that is why I offered 375. Can you please explain to me? Forgive my newness in Posh Mark. Thanks!

stuntonabudget @salmamassoud no proeblem! The smaller belts are regular belts that go through pants loops. They’re $500 at Gucci so if you see one for $200 it it most likely a fake belt. This one goes around the waist and it is a wide belt.

tvstyleicon @salmamassoud oh! Ok. Well the offer was way too low for me cuz it’s a BOUTIQUE item which means they are brand new like in a store. But don’t worry about offending people- you can offer and then wait and see what they counter offer to you. Some ppl are a little crazy on here but most are very nice. Items are labeled NWOT which means New Without Tags or NWT and typically in boutique items prices are pretty firm unless you Bundle and Save which means you’re purchasing more than one item.

tvstyleicon @salmamassoud most people will give you a discount for purchasing multiple items and sometimes if someone sees you’ve Liked several items in their closet the Seller will bundle it for you and make you an offer to see if you like it. It’s very cool and you’ll get the hang of it soon. Also typically offer between 10-20 percent less no more so that the seller takes you seriously;) and NEVER respond to personal emails cuz there are some scammers too so be careful. Hope this helps!! 💕

salmamassoud @tvstyleicon oh I didn't understand the boutique bit before. So all boutiques are authentic ones? Or do you still need to be sure?

tvstyleicon @salmamassoud well one can ha e BOUTIQUE items and regular ones too- for example if it’s a store item and I’m selling like a store in different sizes I can offer as Boutique and you choose that designation when you lost your item. Not all my items are Boutique items- just the ones that say Boutique and those are always brand new like in a real store. Remember also everything over $500. will automatically be authenticated for free by Poshmark.
