steffi3tmc @samanthapb hi Samantha! Thanks for your order! I was on a quick break from work, and I’m not sure that I understood your question correctly. So before I send this I want to make sure that they are what you want. Your question was are they a light wash or are they gray. And the answer is I’m not really so sure they are a pale gray but they do have areas that looked more distressed or in essence “washed” My daughter loves these distressed jeans but I don’t know all the classifications

steffi3tmc @samanthapb So I am looking down at them and they are a very pale gray but there are some areas that look whiter on them. On the front of the thighs, the back is mostly light gray as is the butt and the legs

steffi3tmc @samanthapb I just asked my friend who is over to describe the color, and she said pale gray so I’m not second-guessing myself anymore. But it will be a comfort thing if you look at the pictures yourself
