Hi! I'm Sam! I'm an English and Government double major at Suffolk University in Boston. I am a working student trying to make some extra money to aid with travel and living expenses for school! Every few months I purge my closet and come out with dozens of items I no longer need, so I figured I may as well try to sell them!

@sammihiggins_ absolutely well first of all you want to run your listing several times a day. The more exposure your items get on the Posh page the more people will see your item and easier you what item will sell make sense. Also when someone share something from your closet go into their closet and do the same if they share two or three items than you share two or three items it's a courtesy that's a good way to build your network.

@sammihiggins_ go to find people on your app and look for new poshers welcome them and offered them a discount that's a good way to get new people into your closet. The competition is fierce with Posh so you have to be competitive interacting with your customers and making comments if you've noticed they've been looking at something. I offer them a discount and I usually can make a deal.

@sammihiggins_ another thing I like to do is offer free shipping with $50 or more on a purchase you know the more. People hate to Posh shipping so offer free shipping with order of 50.00. Besides the bigger the order the more profit for you now you realize that that will come out of your profits but in the long run you will bring in more. You remember to adjust your price to compensate to pay for your shipping if you're going to do this.

@sammihiggins_ I've been selling just over a year now and I'm doing pretty good with it but it's just been the last few months in a really learn to Market myself better. And it's really starting to show in my sells. So reaching out to people makes a huge difference you kind of become more personal with your customers you going to sell more

@sammihiggins_ other thing you can do is when you've been in a person's closet make a comment on one of their items and then share it and say this is a great piece you know to be worn with such and such I had one like it I love it.etc

I started with it as lets just see what happens and now I do it full-time and it my main income. It can be done be it does take work.
