lharo1986 Hey @gman65 I have a serious question. In your experience with Rolex do you know if they proclaimed a black face, 8 stone day date in 2 tone with a jubilee band? Also did the back case ever have the Rolex oyster official gas escape valve markings along with a large crown in the center? I’m trying to figure out if a Rolex is real or not.

gman65 @lharo1986 simply put no. You will never see a datejust with a deepsea caseback ever. As for the jubilee band and diamond dial, they could have been added by the current or previous owner(s). Id steer clear with the caseback alone.

gman65 @lharo1986 that calibre was used in many non-date 34mm and 36mm iterations. It was one of the first in house COSC cert movements for Rolex. It was released in 1959 and discontinued in 1968. You will find it in the 5508 & 5510 subs, the 1016 explorer, and 1002 & 1003 oyster perpetual. Any early model gmt, subdate etc has the same base 1560 in it but has date and renmaed 1565 per having a date function. I hope this helps.

Look it up sometime, very difficult to even get accepted. Many unscrupulous sellers do not like being called out for their misdeeds.

An A24322 (which is what you claim yours to be) has a B24 calibre movement in it. A= Stainless Steel, 24= Valjoux 7754 calibre movement, 3= COSC cetified, 22= is short model number.
