decconda I truly hope that I wasn't out of line in providing additional information about your Bulova timepiece. I know just a little bit about watches as I currently own over 3000 pieces. I absolutely love collecting watches!!! It's a wonderful hobby to have. I have met and became good friends with so many other collectors just like myself. People will now contact me and ask if I will check out a timepiece before they will pull the trigger to buy it.

sandra_1718 @decconda Thank you so much for providing this information to me! It wasn’t at all out of line, I really appreciate it for you informing me about the watch! My dad had actually received this watch personally from the CEO of Citizen Corp. a few days ago so he had given it to my brother but he didn’t want it so I will definitely inform my dad and brother of how this watch is a one-of-a-kind and that one of them should keep it!

decconda I fully agree that one of them should keep it!!! One thing that I didn't add to the information I posted was that somewhere in the presentation box there is a fairly small stainless steel " key" that actually slides into the extra crown located at the nine o'clock position. This " key " is what a person uses to adjust the movement should they ever need to speed up or slow down the movement.

decconda I guess that a person could figure out a way to adjust the movement without the special key but it would be so much easier and nicer if the key was available to use. Also, if you have a potential buyer that is familiar with this timepiece they will be asking you very early in the transaction if the movement adjustment key is available. They will expect the key to come with the timepiece. I hope you have it or can find it. Dan C.

decconda I noticed that this Bulova timepiece is no longer available for purchase. That tells me that you were successful in talking your brother or father into keeping the timepiece. I am so happy for you and for the Bulova timepiece. It really needs and deserves to be kept in the family. As you now know, this timepiece is a very special piece. I am so fortunate to own two of them in different color combinations.

decconda The two that I own will NEVER be sold or traded. They will go to my son who at a current age of 28 , already has started collecting timepieces on his own.
