carolynw2019 Thank you for the 5 star rating. I'm so glad it arrived safely. Those particular bowls are hard to come by and I would have hated it if it broke during transit. This belonged to my sister and she just never used it. I'm glad it's going to be used. They are made to he used and loved!!!

carolynw2019 @skferguson54 Vitrified is the heat that it is fired. If I remember right, it was fired at 2000 degrees. I could be wrong, it's been a while. Most of my Longaberger pottery is made in the USA. There was a time when they had it made in China. This piece was made in China. However, China had to meet Longaberger's standards. Does this help?

carolynw2019 @skferguson54 Also, because it is fired so high, if you use metal, such as a serving spoon, etc., it will once in awhile leave marks. These can be removed. Make a paste with Bar Keepers Friend and use a soft cloth or a soft toothbrush, if necessary, and it will come off. This is for all Longaberger pottery. Even what you have already purchased from me.

carolynw2019 @skferguson54 I understand. But this was several years ago. I have not been a consultant for 15 years and I purchased this well before that. But please understand, I get it!! I have 2 or 3 8x8's. I can see what they are. However, it would not be new.

carolynw2019 Thank you for your purchase. I have it packaged up safely and my husband is going to take it to the post office this morning. I didn't know if I was going to be able to because a friend wanted me to fill in for her at work. I'm retired and have been for 10 years but once in a while I fill in for a couple of friends. It's much different than the job I had but they don't expect me to know much since I'm here so randomly.
