I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. I am all alone here. Not one real-life friend. Also trying to get used to the differences from urban to rural. I am so lonely

I’m at my house in very rural Tennessee with my 2 dogs which help me so much! I have a 7 yr old cocker spaniel and a 7 month old German shepherd! They are my life! Do you have family? You are so nice and kind I’m surprised you do not have a ton of friends! Why did you move?

house_of_tara @sandyharrell940 Great Neck NY has very high property taxes, and the town really changed. I love the outdoors. I love hiking and walking. Where I live, the town is predominantly people over age 70, making it harder to find a friend. I know part is my fault. I don't go out of my way to meet people. Thankfully, people here are more friendly than in NY.
