thewidowmaker hi Sarah :-) welcome to poshmark! when I look onto your profile I see that you don't have any shares. one of the big tricks to selling things on poshmark is sharing your things and sharing other people's things. watch how much you sell if you start sharing other people's items because they will share yours. pretty soon your items will be seen by all of their followers too and somebody will buy your things. ♥️

rsdr5 @thewidowmaker JT, lol.. I can definitely understand that 🤣 I’ve been trying to read up on everything I can, but I know there is still much to learn. How do you handle requests for phone and/or email responses? I did read that going offsite to make a sale was not acceptable and could remove you from the site. Is this always the case, even if you are local to the buyer and can pick up the item? Thank you ❤️❤️❤️

thewidowmaker @rsdr5 good morning :-) I do not believe that it's allowed on poshmark to talk to people through email and make sales that way from poshmark. Poshmark does not give out your address, so potential buyers would not know if they were in your neighborhood or not unless you communicated with them through email. That is not safe. if you want to sell locally there are local sites to do that however I don't advise it. I personally do not believe it's safe to give strangers your address. ♥️

thewidowmaker @rsdr5 you can make great money here on poshmark.the thing is you can put your items up but if you don't share other people's things and you don't share your own once or twice a day sales will be very minimal. youve got to really share and use keywords if you can. like if you were going to go look for the item you're selling online yourself what would you type in to search? try to make the first 10 words and the last 10 words in your description be very specific to your item :)

thewidowmaker @rsdr5 for instance the Quaker factory sweater you have somewhere in the first 10 words and somewhere in the last 10 words of the description do something like: QVC Quaker factory sweater black stars button front 1X EUC (EUC means excellent used condition) that would be 10 last words of your description.

thewidowmaker @rsdr5 and for the 10 first words something like: Quaker factory women's sweater 1X black white stars long sleeves. (so you have more keywords like long sleeves and the word women's and the colors black white and the word Stars.anybody looking for those things your item will come up in the search!

thewidowmaker @rsdr5 also it's very good idea to go into the "feed" for a couple of minutes each day and refresh it and share other people's items just one at a time even if it's just five items. because they will share your items back and when they do depending on how many followers they have you are closet item will be shown to all of their followers:)
