1roguepuppy @auchieau48 Hey there! I can give you an orchid tutorial if you ever want to try again. They're super easy. Most people just over water them and don't give them enough light. We've been lucky to be in Virginia Beach for quite a few years now. Moving is up for discussion every year. Who knows where we'll go next! I was in Philly last. Loved it there. All my orchids died in the move last time, but I've learned a lot since then and am hoping I'll do better next time;)

1roguepuppy @auchieau48 I did learn to stop naming them after people or pets I knew, because then it was very sad when they died. I name them so I can catalog their photographs. Now I name them after fictional characters. Still, I was sad when the whole cast of Friends died from a mealy bug infestation. Only Chandler survived. Why am I left with just Chandler? He's whiny! Why not Joey or Phoebe? Alas... ;) Nice to meet you!

1roguepuppy @auchieau48 I HATE moving. An expert, yes, but very glad that the Navy sends people to come and move your boxes. I think I did at least 10 moves in my younger life before being a Navy spouse, and truly appreciate how hard movers work! I've only lived on the East Coast, but I've been lucky enough to travel a lot with my husband. Very cool indeed. Probably my favorite thing about my life, after awesome husband, kids, dogs, and family, of course:) Traveling is awesome!

auchieau48 Haha I concur, moving is painful! I used to insist on moving myself but movers are lifechangers. Great they provide that service. It must be difficult with the kids changing schools as well. Looove traveling, wish it would come around more often but hard to escape from the rat race.

1roguepuppy @auchieau48 Too funny! You're so right! But alas, it was Chandler. He hasn't bloomed in over a year since all his friends died. He always was kinda mopey. Maybe if I stick a new Monica beside him, he'll be okay:) Right now, he's sitting next to Tyrion (the dwarf from Game of Thrones), who can bloom in any conditions. Chandler is just too fragile. Apparently he hasn't learned anything from Tyrion. He he:) Ridiculous, isn't it?

megz31 Hats off to your husband thank him for his service in the military my hubby is a cop/detective it's hard when are men do dangerous jobs I worry all the time. I'm assuming if he is a surgeon is it on the front line which that would scare the crap out of me! I know I ask 1 million questions but out of curiosity what made him choose to practice medicine in the military I love it I would love to be an army nurse but I would fail boot camp for being out of shape as well as insubordinate!

1roguepuppy @megz31 Hats off to your husband as well! My husband's dad was a cop. My husband went into military medicine to help make sure that the people who put themselves in harm's way came home to their families. I'm very proud of him and the work he does, but I know I couldn't do it. Happy to be on the support team. But there are plenty of people I know that work in trauma stateside who do incredible work as well. It's certainly a field that makes you feel like your job is worthwhile every day!

1roguepuppy @tchouseofstyle No problem! Here are my few basic tips... First is to avoid trades until you have your feet under you, since they're not protected by by the Posh guarantee. Second is to watch the parties at night when you're available to share a few congrats messages, shares, and likes to host picks you like. It's a good way to meet new and active poshers and can increase your visibility. The one at 10pm EST is the one I'm referring to.

It's ok not to share from a closet that shared your stuff if you can't find anything you like. It's the best advice I ever got, from @merileeann :) If being on Posh is starting to stress you out or control your life, it's ok to step back! I hope that helps:) Best of luck! If you need an extended leave, you can always put a listing at the top that says "closet temporarily closed for family time" or whatever, then change all your listings to not for sale. Might be a good idea around the wedding. Sales pick right back up when you get back. I'm here if you need me!

I just lost 50 lbs, which made it so sad to say goodbye to all my favorites that were perfectly broken in, but also a good excuse to buy new stock. My faves are Mother, J Brand, and my new find, Level 99, which is less expensive, but has a high lyocell content, so they are super soft and stretchy and hold their shape.

It's really fun now that they are grown to see how they "turned out" after all the craziness. They are amazing people. 24, 23, & 19. I'm glad I started young, or I don't know how I would've had the energy! Raising them is the most wonderful thing I've ever experienced, plus meeting my incredible husband. Looks like you have a pretty happy bunch:)

If you're anything like my husband and son, which I'm guessing you are, you work your ass off. My son does it for free, like you do. sinnersorsaints Yes it's so true. I would love to know what your son is working on and your husband too. Obtaining a PhD is a very though journey. I'm so passionate about trauma. I did a research internship at UCSF during medical school (university of Amsterdam) in 2007 and have been hooked ever since. I have faced several major challenges along the way... Like so many in the trauma community.

sinnersorsaints My goal and dream is/was to become a trauma surgeon... I was diagnosed with a auto immune disease in 2012. I only missed one week in the lab in 4 years because of this ilness. I'm struggling with my redefing my goals. I don't want to give up my dream. But i don't know how to make it happen either..
