Hi Sarah. Welcome to a Poshmark! Since your new, keep in mind that offering 50% of a seller’s asking price is usually not accepted with the 20% commission fees that Poshmark takes from each sale. Sellers are more open to reasonable/respectful offers typically 10-20% off depending on their investments, etc.
