Meet your Posher, Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah. It's about time that I update this from the default so here it goes. When I started Poshmark I was in college. It was a fun way to stay on top of trendy styles. I loved that I could shop people's "closets" that had the same size and style as me. It was almost like finding a personal shopper. In my career, secondhand shopping was a way for me to afford business clothes when I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I was often complimented on my outfits and asked where I found them, only to reply that they were a thrifted bargain. Now I am a mom. Kids grow out of things, overnight. At first it was hard for me to part with my son's things. Then, I found the beauty in passing them on to other people's children to hold new memories. If you order from my closet you will most likely receive a note with a story about the item, in hopes that they serve you and your family well. My grandmother was big on letter writing. There's something so much more human about handwriting on a card, that comes from the heart. My packaging is also repurposed mail slips or boxes. That is my legacy for the future, one by one, reducing waste in landfills to create a better future for our children.
