lavidalocatx @nycnomad you can’t really “message” people per se. You can add an item to a bundle for them (you can access peoples bundles through the shopping bag icon at the top of the closet) and semi privately communicate with them that way or you can comment on their meet the posher page like this one to start a dialogue

lavidalocatx @nycnomad never email anyone, those are scams which you can report by tapping the flag icon under the comment. The scammers target new accounts preying on new users lack of knowledge. One of Poshmarks terms of policy forbids off site transaction & comunicatin

surrendersong Could I ask you a favor? Do you think you could cancel my order. I completely understand if you are unwilling. But my travel plans have gotten complicated and I’m afraid I’m not going to be able to examine my order to accept. It basically comes down to I’m a traveling musician and my tour schedule keeps changing. I think you would be able to sell it again right away. Probably for more than $80. I am saying that since you have committed yourself to this purchase, I will happily ship it to a friend of yours or family member who can hold it for you, open it, inspect it etc so it is waiting for you when you get to that particular city.

surrendersong @nycnomad you could easily resist that, sell it immediately for that price and still ship tomorrow and have your funds quicker than waiting on me to catch up to the package now that my schedule is changing. The fact that you refuse indicated to me that i have something to worry about.

I have already made several adjustments to shipping for you. I get that you are upset that I am unwilling to cancel the sale even though you specifically said that you would understand if I didn’t. If I have to wait on the funds that is fine. Please just let me know where you want the package sent. I will contact a site administrator for further guidance.

surrendersong @nycnomad I will not have my destination schedule until Monday. I feel that even though you’re saying you’re trying to resolve it, there’s a pretty simple solution, and if a buyer had messaged me with this situation I would have no problem canceling to put them at ease. That dress would easily sell for $150 so re-listing at $80 would get us both the desired outcome and your refusal at this point is suspicious.

nycnomad @lavidalocatx Hey girl, quick question for you. Can you explain to me what happens once you make a sale and ship the item. I have had one sale go fine and another go sideways because the person asked me to wait to ship it and then “changed their mind”. Once you ship, what happens?

lavidalocatx @nycnomad once you ship it is out of your hands. Of course the buyer could always make a claim when they received the item that it wasn’t as described so as to be able to return and receive their money back and if posh were to rule in their favor they would get their money back and you would get their item back but that would be a rare situation.

lavidalocatx @nycnomad my recommendation for the future would be if the buyer purchased the item and then changed their mind before you shipped just cancel the sale. Its disappointing but it’s better than ending up with a potential false return case you end up losing.

nycnomad @drewwho 100% on the same page. Its finding that balance between profit and sellable. If you mark it for what its really worth, then very few people can afford it. But if you lower the price, you end up with a fraction of what you spent. I just loaded some Isabel Marant jeans from around the same season as yours (i used to have the pink ones btw) and gave them to charity... I feel like I’m giving them away.

twoeyedhexe @nycnomad hi Sarah, I saw you asking about Agent Provocateur Florine bra sizing; I am selling it in a size 3 which honestly best fits 34b/34c, just in case. And it’s easy to find matching bottoms, the other seller is selling Zsi Zsi Panties which are also rare and hard to find. They are both discontinued styles so you can’t find them on AP website. Hope that helps.
