saramaxxx @danileigh427 it's so rough! They're all so expensive! People love buffalo exchange but I think it can be over priced, I love this a lot better! If you're ever on a road trip and get a chance definitely thrift there. And if you have time it's always worth shifting through the Salvation Army or goodwill, though I usually go there for wine glasses, I've found a few things... My friends closets and clothing swaps are good places. Sometimes just going on long walks you'll find the best

saramaxxx Sure, @lavenderfarm ! What would you like to know? I'm a preschool teacher. I take treating young kids with respect and giving them the emotional support and time to creatively problem solve on their own very seriously. I love getting messy in the classroom, just cause the kids should be able to. My rooms a little more messy than I would like it to be- in a different sense of the word. I value my friendships really well but need to invest just as much time alone with my thoughts and myself.

I’m with 2/3 year olds, and working on my thesis. the first month is tiring cause many of the children/parents need lots of support through the separation process, but it’s going well! a great group of kids! Some still need to go through feelings in the morning- some jump in but their parents need support with their feelings. You take a lot home- some people can “leave it at the door” but I think processing it allows me to support families better

I think even worse than the physical ailments, which are horrible, are the feelings of worthlessness and feeling like a loser that come with all the restrictions, and all the trouble to reach any goals or maintain jobs or feel productive the way you had planned for yourself and others, or had once been able to. I don’t think people realize the emotional/mental affliction that comes hand in hand

saramaxxx @romeolovesme it’s so horrifying that people do that to children. I work with kids and my goal in life is to work as a child’s advocate- because children can’t advocate for themselves and it’s the most scarring time in life. I think if there’s a genetic predisposition to autoimmune disorders, trauma makes it more likely. I’ve been teaching preschool ten years, and got my MA in psychology but I can only sub this year cause the lupus makes it too hard to work reliably .

saramaxxx @romeolovesme well this year I’m not really working and I feel terrified all the time about how I will survive. I work on days I can but then sleep a long time. I can’t really use my joints, that’s the hardest part, and my medications make me really sick. I throw up a lot from them and tons of side effects. I had celiac disease long time, it’s the other ones that make it so hard. My roommate makes fun of me and says “lazy” and doesn’t realize all I wish for is to be productive and not in pain

straycat23 Hello Sara, I'm trying to get a hold of you to check on the package that I sent. It shows "In Transit " but I checked with USPS and it shows that it was delivered.
