skaplan9190 @seussala hi there, I received a notice from Poshmark that the package was delivered but that you notified them you couldn't locate it. I've never had that happen before so I'm just wondering if you've double checked to make sure the address you put is correct? Trying to figure out what could have happened..is it possible it was delivered and someone took it? hopefully you get it, but that does make me concerned.

seussala @skaplan9190 hi- yeah it’s very odd I’ve never had that happen either- the address is correct and I have a doorman so nothing can really be stolen, he is positive nothing arrived for me that day or the day after - can you check the tracking number for the package ? I can no longer see it on my end maybe it says exactly where it was or if it got rerouted or something ?

skaplan9190 @seussala very strange. I checked and it doesn’t allow me to see the tracking info- it just days it was delivered on the 21st and is waiting for your acceptance. I also live in a doorman building and had a similar issue once and turned out they had misplaced it in the storage room. Just to give you reference I packed it in an amazon prime package envelope. Maybe that would help them try to locate it?

skaplan9190 @seussala so I was able to manually track based on the prepaid mailing label from poshmark and it said it was delivered on March 21 at 1:24pm in or at the mailbox.. so maybe it went in your mailbox rather than with the doorman?

witchbag4me I bought frm the person selling ps5 consoles. They sent an empty package to a fake address in my zip code with my tracking info so it showed as delivered but I got no package to prove it. I was lucky the mailman was able to go back and find it. Fighting for refund now with Pictures from PO.

witchbag4me If you already bought one. Take the tracking # and contact your local Post Office. Tell them that they need to confiscate the package with that tracking. They will never give it to you since your name/address will not be on it. I hate to see someone else get played. Ask them to let you take pictures to prove the label is altered if this happens to you.

witchbag4me @seussala Contact you credit company with pics too , just in case posh gives you a hard time. Try to intercept it at the PO. Once it is delivered, you may not be able to get pics of the label with wrong address or show the size of the package as too small to be what you ordered.

witchbag4me @seussala Make sure the PO understand that the tracking number is what they are looking for and NOT YOUR NAME...otherwise they will miss it and deliver your proof to god knows where.

witchbag4me @seussala I called the postal supervisor that confiscated the package and left a request for an official letter stating that my scanned tracking # was attached another name/address. just un case posh rules against me I have something for p-pal and my bank.

witchbag4me I am letting you know every step that I take. So, you can know what works for me. I suggest that you screenshot my conversations with you so you can explain to the post office etc. why you are on alert ahead of time. MAKE SURE TO GET THE POST OFFICE TO INTERCEPT THE PACKAGE and get clear pics in natural lighting of the entire package w/close up pics of tracking # with the bad name and address in the frame.

seussala Hi! I wanted to give you an update - but thanks to your quick information, I contacted poshmark right away and explained to them what you said and they finally cancelled the order. It turns out the seller shipped the item with a non-poshmark label literally hours after I purchased it so I never got the tracking number until I received a notification this morning saying it was out for delivery already. But luckily I had already explained the sellers strategy to poshmark and they agreed to cancel

seussala @witchbag4me Thank you again so much for letting me know - I really hope that you are able to get your money back as well - poshmark support let me now that everything is insured and secured by them (which i wasn't sure I believed if i didn't have the fradulent package in hand). but as soon as they saw they didn't use a posh approved label they canceled it. witchbag4me @seussala I just got my mine cancelled(after yours). It took 5 days. I really think that having more than one person with the same complaint helped us both. In hind sight, your case helped mine. I did not think of it at the time. I just did not want to see you lose that much money especially, at Christmas time.
