Hi. I just received the Guess dress, but it's much shorter than what I expected. I believe the original dress is 60" from shoulder to hem, and this dress is about 55" from shoulder to hem. Was this dress shortened?

I don’t do well on Poshmark...emails or texts.
I’m not a seamstress, so I don’t know if I’m qualified to answer your question but I’ll try. It appears to me that it could be reworked. I think any seamstress would not wish to work on this piece. There are the side seams that wouldn’t be too much of a problem, but there are the “bones” or supports built into the garment. I don’t know if they can be removed.

@maotoole hi so I checked with the tailor. N I don’t think think it will fit you at the bust. Laying flat bust measures at 15, I did take to the tailor and it has margin inside on both sides about two inches or less however even with that it won’t be a 38. I tried it on to see how much room you would have n I am a 32d and it was tight. So let me know what you would like me to do. Thanks
