shanna567 @lupinemeadows Thank you! As do you! Someone has already tried to "dupe" me, by asking to cash a check for way over the asking price for one of my dresses. Then she said to keep the excess and give the rest to her "movers"...I declined. I could tell it was fraud. Any advice? Should I report them?

lupinemeadows @shanna567 I’m so sorry this happened to you- It happened to me once too. It’s a scam that can get you in legal trouble for check fraud if you had tried to deposit the fake check. Then you’d be out the money plus your item! Yes, always report anyone who tries to transact off Poshmark. It’s always a scam. I’m so sorry.

lupinemeadows @shanna567 I just reported them for you.. Posh will remove their posts and deal with them. It’s awful that they target especially the new folks and higher priced items.

lupinemeadows @shanna567 You did good. When I was targeted, I actually gave them my email phone number and address. 🙄 Fortunately nothing bad seems to have come of that. Hope it doesn’t turn up on the dark web. I’ve since learned more about these scammers. I threatened them directly with legal action and they quickly disappeared. I reported them to Posh.
