getyourposhon2 Hi! Welcome to Poshmark! I am still learning my way around, but I want to succeed here, so I am figuring things out. If there’s anything you need help with, I may be able to help, so feel free to ask. I learned about the $10 credit that you can offer to your friends if they sign up using your username, and when they redeem it, you get a $10 credit, too. It’s easy to invite them on the app, but not the website, but as long as they have your username, you are good.

getyourposhon2 @shannahdutka I found a YouTube video where someone was saying what to do to get some sales, and it makes sense. Pretty much you follow people, and there’s a lot of people that know how to expand their reach, so they are following all kinds of people, and you can follow whoever you want, but the suggestion was to also follow new people and welcome them. I decided to go a step further and also suggest how to give away the $10 credits. I think that’s an awesome Way to get some money to spend.

getyourposhon2 So another suggestion was to share other peoples listings to your followers, and typically then they will do the same for you. There are some things that you can do to become an ambassador, and then I guess you get some kind of badge or you can put that in your name or some thing. You have to have a certain amount of sales, good standing with Poshmark, a certain number of followers, and probably a couple of other things. You can find that in the help section.

getyourposhon2 Another suggestion to start getting in some sales is to refresh 10 of your listings, and I suppose all that means is to click on it, and then hit the upper right corner three times which will take you to edit and list, and that will put it back up at the top and share it to your followers. Also, do three new listings a day if you can. That’s even if you have to and some of your things and list them again.

getyourposhon2 There is a place where you can go on your main page and click on Your followers and then just go down the page to click on all the ones that you have not followed back. She was saying that takes about 30 minutes a day. For me it’s taking a little bit longer. I write a message and cut and paste it to 10 new people. I’ve only been doing that a few days. That’s the one that I sent to you. I change it up a little bit every day.

getyourposhon2 Another thing that I learned is that the $7.11 shipping pays for up to a 5 pound package. The extra amount for anything over is a bit hefty. If you decide to get your own shipping, I am not sure if Poshmark lets you keep that shipping fee. I have to find that out still. Also, you can only do up to a 10 pound package with a Poshmark label, with that extra fee coming out of your pocket, so you have to make sure that you were charging enough for your items to cover that extra fee if needed.

getyourposhon2 Those are the main things that I have learned. With all of the sharing going on, he will start selling things. There just has to be more eyes on your closet. Poshmark has days where you can be entered into drawings for discounting your things to People that have liked any of your items. So that’s a good thing. You can also bundle things to have them get shipped together for the one shipping rate that they have to pay to Poshmark. If it’s all under 5 pounds, that’s the best bet.

getyourposhon2 by seeing others closets and how they set things up , I see that they will list a lot of things for around the $12 to $20 price , but then they will Run a sale on things that they have had a while, and maybe mark them at seven dollars and offer bundles to someone that has liked a few different things. Of course if someone has only liked one thing, you can still do that, but it’s better to write to them and tell them that they can pick any three items for $20 that have 3/$20 in the title.

getyourposhon2 I have learned all of these things in just the last few weeks, but I have been on here for about a year already with no sales, so I figured I would start trying to figure out what would work. I am confident that as I get more things listed, I will get to that point. I have loads of things. I have a boutique and resale shop locally, so I have plenty to list! Some things are higher end than others. Marry Kay does very well on eBay and Amazon. I’m trying to get on Amazon with that.

getyourposhon2 So to summarize, the core things to do are following back your followers, welcoming at least 10 new members every day, Sharing several things from your followers closets to your list or even to Facebook, doing three new listings and relisting 10 of your items. Have fun and hope you do well! I sure things to the parties, too, just to be more active. Other members are good at giving back when you give.

ez_creations @shannahdutka When you sign up, Poshmark wants to make sure you enjoy the social aspects, as well as find great deals. They automatically give you some followers to help you get started. When you see listings that appeal to you, follow that Posher and whenever new items are added to their closet, the listings will appear in your feed.
