@flyers03 Shannon! WOW!! I would love love to have the space to raise a) chickens, and b) goats! Though sat next to an ancient fellow from CO 1 trip (I'm in Denver) and he entertained me for 2.5 hours with 'goat raising stories😉😳'. I rode horses quite seriously from 9-20 yr.s and goats were always around on the farms. What do you use them for primarily?

@flyers03 I'm VERY happy that you love the skirt (I truly did too, only got to wear it 1-2x) and some health issues have made it very hard to keep weight/muscle mass up. There are such things as being "too rich AND too skinny." We just rescued a dog from Tijuana & she's named Chata- it has a real Spanish definition like big flat face I think, but in slang it's a girl who is very flat front & back; we laugh because Chata was destined to be my second dog!😉🇭🇺😀.

@flyers03 Anyway, I'm also thrilled you like the soap too. It's so easy to make as I use an Etsy supplier for the organic base in S. Carolina... Buy big bulk chunks of it and doctor it up with things like shea butter from Fair Trade/Africa, and various organic essential oil creators across globe as well as natural dye makers (all made from drying parts of veggie roots&skins/flower petals for color).

@flyers03 Actually my oldest son and I got into it- sea salt, org. oatmeal, coffee grounds (used/dried) all pretty fun & creative. Both my boys knit too but not my daughter--she thinks we're crazy but believe me, both guys have girls trailing after them as they knit on campus, and my oldest plays varsity soccer at college and boy do they have some fun with his soap making/knitting...

@flyers03 kid also makes cheese (goat's milk is yummy!!) We have 4 lg. raised garden beds- so grow vege, and herbs great for cheeses. And he loves making fresh pasta too! Since he left for college (Chicago), our meals went ⬇️😉. Have you made cheese with goat's milk? Our big ? was the 'rennet' (sp?)-we broke down & use the one w/cow's marrow (?) -seems to make the heartiest cheeses. If you make would love any book recommendations or websites.
