My name is Shannon. I live in a tiny cabin in the N Georgia mountains, so I have been downsizing A LOT ! ALL of my items are from a smoke-free but pet friendly home. Feel free to ask me questions. fabbityfab @walkinjoy I lived I my tiny cabin for several years. It was quite challenging not because of the size, but it was SERIOUSLY RUSTIC. NO insulation, no heat, no stove, no bathroom (I used a bucket for pee), and the power was too weak to run two things at once like the oil space heater and make me coffee !!! (See more comments)

fabbityfab @walkinjoy I coped with it, but it was a BIG CHALLENGE. I recently moved to a farm where I now have goats and chickens. My house is small, but it feels like a mansion by comparison !!! I MOST appreciate my bathroom, shower, heat, ac and the excellent power voltage ! I don’t regret it, but I needed so many upgrades to my cabin that I didn’t choose to stay. I do miss the mountains, but the farm is INCREDIBLY rewarding too 💜 (see more comments)

fabbityfab @walkinjoy A simple A frame cabin still needs certain creature comforts to be a long-term dwelling. I wanted a deck and a screened in porch for it to be PERFECT !!! Gracie, my Great Pyrenees, is ECSTATIC with her farm dog like too ! 🐶 let me know if you have any more questions. I’d be happy to answer. I cooked with an air fryer which worked great in the tiny cabin. I had a 7 cu foot fridge. I can send you pix if you’d like to see my interior.

walkinjoy WOW you really did rough it! Quite Impressive! If we ever get the money to do it, I would like it as a guest/studio space, rustic enough that the guests wouldn't stay forever - not really. We have a small house in the middle of the woods with 27 acres and goats, chickens, horses, dogs, cats, and 1 rabbit. You never know what our day will be like.
