Hi! I'm Shannon. Thanks for stopping by! Feel free to leave me a comment so that I can check out your closet, too. :) I love (and live in) dresses and most of my wardrobe (that I wear on a regular basis) is black architectural dresses with bright or interesting heels to spice up the black. Although I love dresses and suits, I am very much against wearing hosiery and admit I often don't dress appropriately for cold weather - I'm usually the one wearing a sleeveless dress with a wool coat.

sjoyce222 @tberger22 Ha ha, I wish he would go in a bag! No such luck! My Mom and I tried when he was a puppy (he'll be 8 soon)and he refuses to stay in, he pops his head out - wants to talk to everyone and know what's going on - and then tries to jump out. Such a monkey! 🐒 He's flown a few times and hates it because they force him to stay in a bag.

And I’m sure your little one is too! 😊 My husband and I were on a little trip to the coast 4-5 years ago and sat next to these people at an outdoor cafe when out pops the cutest little face from her bag! He was so sweet and wanted to come sit in my lap. I made up my mind right then that that was going to be me some day! 🤩😂🥰

I have a kitty, Scruffy, but sadly had to put my sweet Cleocatra - Cleo for short - down almost 4 years ago. 😢 She’s the one in the pic.

It's amazing how 9-10 pounds can rule your life 😆 I love that story about your trip - it's so easy to become smitten! I think you should definitely have one, as you said when you retire - your future little one will be lucky to have you! I have a similar story - this was long before Rupie.

sjoyce222 @tberger22 We were in Colorado visiting family and went to this little place for breakfast in Green Mountain Falls. We sat at the table and next to us out pops from under the table the most beautiful Saint Bernard. I was ready to take her home with me then! 😄 I love the gentle giants, too! Just can't tell Rupie that 😉 Of course, he also thinks he's a boy and not a dog!

sjoyce222 @tberger22 Unfortunately, no - my job is not one that I can take him with me and I have ridiculously long hours. Thankfully, my Mom is retired and she takes care of him. I'm like you, I could have never had a small one while working if it wasn't for her. He would not make out well at daycare. So happy you said that because they definitely need constant interaction.

sjoyce222 @tberger22 He has changed our lives and it breaks my heart when I have to leave him. In fact, we've found he's actually growing more attached as he gets older and having to leave him even to run errands that he can't go along is hard - I don't look back when I close the door! But I wouldn't trade my time with him for anything- he brings so much joy!! 😇🥰

tberger22 @sjoyce222 It’s awesome that your mom can watch Rupie while you’re working! They are just like children, for sure! I am w you - love the gentle giants, too! ❤️Scruffy keeps me company but she is old and fat and pretty demanding (wants to go in and out all night, every night). 😖. But she’ll come running over if you call her - even if she’s napping - and loves to be scratched. And she starts purring like crazy if you even pass her by!

I think the prices are actually working against me - I built in room for negotiation but I either get no offers or really low ones for 50+%. I guess that's a new Posher issue of trying to find the right price points.
