Your messages will be out in the open for all to see, HOWEVER you can click REPLY to a specific comment (like I did with you) & THAT person will get the message thru their news feed & an email saying so & so left you a comment. AS for parties, follow the guidelines as to exactly WHAT can be shared during the party & then click on YOUR item UNDER the pic/description to the SHARE icon (looks like a rectangle of arrows) & it will ask you IF u want to share to your FOLLOWERS or to a ...

donnahost @rieceb WHEN u share to a specific party your items show in the "Main showroom" for ALL to see, share & HOPEFULLY purchase! : ) IF someone shares YOUR ITEM it will show in your news feed & the correct etiquette is to SHARE the same # of their items to YOUR FOLLOWERS...this is how the Poshmark world goes round & how sales get made!!! The more followers & shares, the better chance at selling your items!!! IF you have ANY other ??? just ask!!! xxoo

rieceb @donnahost Hi you have been so helpful. I have another question. When a person asks you for more pictures directly to their email or etc. Is that allowed? I ask because I try to post as many pictures as possible on the site. I don’t want to do anything that is outside of the poshmark rules.

donnahost @rieceb So if someone asks you to take the sale off Poshmark to their email or phone via text....it's usually a scam. It's against the Poshmark rules of etiquette to take the sale off their platform. I usually just REPLY back to them in comments that I do NOT sell off Poshmark & I will be happy to work with them thru Poshmark if they are serious about the item....9 times out of 10 they ghost me after that!!! Hope this helps!!! xxoo
