edekayfavething Hi Sharon--I went to Humble High School--like a gazillion years ago! Couldn't believe when i saw Humble under your name (!!!!). How is Deerbrook Mall--heard it was under water--your house ok? family? Have been lifting up everyone in that area for over a year or so now. We love you all very much. My family and house were all safe, thank God. It was heartwarming to see the strength and unity and love that poured out for everyone. I’m always so excited to connect with people. edekayfavething Thank you Sharon for the update. I lived in Timberwood off Rankin when it actually was just beginning. I've heard it's gone "downhill" there in the last few years. Who knows though... A ranch was at the end of our street, Quail Run Dr and sometimes the bulls would get loose and come walkin' down. It was the best! I was born in Buffalo, NY and we moved to Humble in the summer before my 3rd grade year. So I was in heaven--thinking, "THIS is true Texas!"

edekayfavething @redlily21 Have friends in Kingwood, Atascocita (sp?), inside Loop--were completely wiped out. So thankful you are all good! Weather in the south, man--always makes me feel sooo small. Enjoy the holidays for sure--So glad to "meet" you--thank you for humoring me, Sharon. So nice to go down memory lane with you & see you are ok. (BTW--worked at Olive Garden across from Deerbrook Mall for 5 years--all through university--graduated U of H--Go Cougars!) redlily21 @edekayfavething we moved here about 3 years ago and from what I have been told this area has more than quadrupled. I know since we’ve been here traffic has become unbearable. Sighhh. We’re in Atascocita. Soooo many people.

edekayfavething @redlily21 My best friend while there lived in Atascocita, in the back near the road connecting to Kingwood (if that road is still there). They live in Dallas now :). But their whole family is still in Woodlands & Atascocita and will be there for Christmas. Small world! if you ever eat at the Olive Garden, think of me--I was a hostess, first at 17 out of high school! So lovely to meet you. And hopefully they widened 1960 so traffic improves (!!!).
