42ml33 @mtdewers If you have something with pearls just wash with Dawn (blue or free) as you can strip the pearl coating with anything harsh or strong. I simply hold the item in my palm & drop some soap on it. Rub around a bit, rinse & dry. Never put away damp. Hope this helps. Have a great day. Sharon #1

The item was NWOT, and I am not sure what the smell could have been. But thank you for the feedback, I do wash everything that isn't new before sending it out. I'm new to Posh and still figuring it out. I'm sorry that you weren't 100% satisfied.

42ml33 @sowhatruwearing . I didn't remember your statement regarding the streak of dirt on the front. It did wash out as well as the smell. It was a sour, musty odor & quite strong when I opened the bag. Don't be upset. It wasn't as bad as some items I have received that are so soaked in strong laundry products I gag when I open them.
