foresttreasures @sissysseashak Hubby& I are originally from Philly. We spent 17 long HOT HUMID years (what were we thinking?) in Ft Myers, FL. Thought that was where we wanted to live after retirement. Did I mention it was HOT & HUMID? Ugh. We came up to NC on vacation, fell in absolute love with this area, & as soon as Joe retired, we were out of FL within a few days. Been here 7 years, live on a mountain. Every season is beautiful. We love the wildlife & small town living. Never moving again. :)
