cratshop2sls Hi Shawn, You’re a very talented artist. All of your pieces are amazing, the colors & precision in your style is fantastic. Each one tells a story. It reminds me of the artist Peter Max, you probably have seen his work, if not you should look him up. He used vibrant colors and each paining captured what was happening in the era he was in at the time like the 60’s, 70’s and on. I really appreciate anyone who has the artistic talent like you and is able to express it in such a visually beautiful way. My uncle was a cartoonist for the New Yorker magazine a long tome ago like from the 1930’s until the end of the 1960’s.

cratshop2sls (Part 2) He was quite famous at that time and his cartoons were a satirical view of life in New York City and the people during that period. His name was Peter Arno. You should google him to see some of his cartoons, I think you would enjoy seeing them and could see how he expressed his views of life in his art.

shawnhall42 I googled him. .. there's quite a it in him I must say..that's so cool ... drawing cartoons was what made me first want to draw...I really love abstract also...I'm not really sure what my main style will end up being...I love a lot of different styles .one of my favorites artist was pollock.....I am at times unsure of my work...it's frustrating

cratshop2sls @shawnhall42 Hey, my Uncle was Peter Arno and I aldosterone told you yesterday about another famous artist called Peter Max. Your style reminds me of Peter Max’s work. Your art is how you express yourself & view things in the world & your life. Art is very therapeutic like poetry or other creative outlets. That’s what’s so interesting about art, it lets you see how everybody can look at the same thing but their interpretation can be totally different from anyone else’s.

shawnhall42 I think poshmark is try thinking I'm trying to sell something on the side without going thru them.... but that's not the case...but it's not allowing me to send my email address regardless...I do send some designs to a company called ievva..they print them on their clothing line...I make a small percentage of each sale .. you can look it up....

cratshop2sls @shawnhall42 Wow, you have a lot of great stuff on there. You’re art is really, really good. It looks so good on clothing and your prices are very reasonable too. Do you sell a lot in there? You just need to get it on as many websites as possible. If you’re not on Etsy you should put it on there, they sell everything handmade art, crafts, jewelry & more. It’s a great website to sell handmade art & have a lot of people see it.

cratshop2sls @shawnhall42 Don’t get frustrated with all of the possibilities of online market sites now you have a lot of options out there to start with. You just have to be persistent and not give up you’re off to a good start. Someone once said to me pick an artist or artists that you like they’re style and use that as a guide to make it your own.

cratshop2sls Nothing worthwhile comes easy. If you really want it to happen you have to make it happen. If you get knocked down you get back up and keep moving forward until you get to where you want to be. You have a great style it’s just a matter of getting it out there. Research what online sites you can get your prints & merchandise on to sell.
