I came home way late last night and was doing life stuff- figuring out the issues with a car problem and making arrangements for it to get taken care of, fixing dinner, and breaking up a fight between the cat and raccoon... and adult children stuff...ug... so couldn't try on boots until way early this morning and then get to school and couldn't respond until recess break.
