shellybrowne283 @kmmontone You’re very welcome. I quit smoking 11 months 20 days and 22 hours ago after smoking for 35 years. I was told if I didn’t quit I may never walk again (Spinal Fusion Surgery last August). I quit cold Turkey and thank God every day that I’ve been able to quit. I’ll pray for you. Sending hugs! 🤗

shellybrowne283 @kmmontone The cervical spine where it’s been fused has healed well. Thank you so much for your concern. I still have quite a few health issues but none of them life threatening at the moment. I definitely consider myself blessed.

kmmontone @shellybrowne283 Yes you are definitely blessed. I beleive I am too. Last year 8/3/22, the docs predicted I'd have maybe 2 month. Well I still have stage 4 cancer & am still terminal, but yesterday was my 1 year anniversary. I have to believe that God gave me this extra time to do some good. Maybe what has happened to me can be an example to others and hopefully inspire them to quit.

shellybrowne283 @kmmontone I agree! God definitely had a hand in it. I’m so glad I got to “meet” you and I hope by sharing your story we can make someone realize that smoking isn’t worth it. You’re a prisoner to it. I still have moments when I want a cigarette but it passes pretty quickly. My husband quit 25 years ago and he still loves the smell of cigarette smoke. It’s a terrible addiction.
