kgraper Sherri, Obviously by eyes are not what they used to be. This dress is actually a small petite not 6 petite The material is stretchy, the bust measures 14.5' armpit to armpit and the waist is elastic and 12' laying flat. If this works for you I will ship out if not I will cancel the order. So sorry for the mixup
