shopping516 @vickyvista10 yes thank you!! Earlier I asked someone about adding pics of shoes that I had liked. Then later it said I had purchased the shoes. Because I’m new I’m not sure how that happened. I questioned her and she said she could send a refund. I do like them so I told her it’s ok. How did that happen? Is this website not secure? I also shop at a similar well known site but never had anything like that happen. Thank you!!

vickyvista10 @shopping516 I’ve been on Poshmark for almost 5 years, and I’ve never heard of that. The site is secure and purchases cannot be made, unless you do it yourself. There are two ways to purchase: 1 is through the standard checkout process, where you have to put in your information and submit an order. The 2nd is through the offer button, where if you submit an offer, you’re automatically obligated to purchase if the seller accepts.

vickyvista10 @shopping516 I’ve seen instances where buyers submit an offer, not knowing that they must purchase at that point, as they are binding. But again, you have to go through a process.

vickyvista10 @shopping516 Also, just so you know, there are no refunds (unless something is clearly damaged or incorrect but you must show evidence). If you purchase something you don’t want, the seller CAN cancel the purchase if it’s not sent out, but they don’t have too. And if it’s been shipped, there’s nothing that can be done.

vickyvista10 But again, there are many steps before a purchase, that they can’t be made unless you do something yourself. If you feel like something went awry, you may want to contact Poshmark Support. I hope this helps!
