thefullcloset @sherryleigh66 I added another picture of the hardware. The dimensions are: the base is 15 in long and 4.5 in wide at the top 18 in long. It seems big enough for a lap top. My 11 in acer chromebook fits in it. If that helps. Let me know if you need anything else
