@leighnajohnson Thanks for reaching out! Why do you think they are not the real thing? I don't know much about this particular brand but I do know real leather. At the end of the day, that's what I really care about (the materials being genuine). But I appreciate hearing from you! Thanks and hope you're doing well during the quarantine.

@leighnajohnson I saw the comments on the seller's listing. Whether these shoes are genuine, I cannot say. What I can say is the materials are real leather uppers and outsoles. The shoes look well made, with every detail comparable to any other designer shoe I own. At worse, these might be superfakes, made in the same factory but without the brand's consent. These days, it's hard to tell what's real. I truly appreciate you reaching out and trying to do what you think is right. Good looking out!

@slei5 thank you for taking up for me about the josefinas shoes! The lady blocked me but I reached out to the company and they looked over her page and said they do not wholesale with anyone and those shoes don’t belong to them

@slei5 I can provide you the screenshot from josefinas conversation. They are contacting posh to have the shoes removed! They are extremely good fakes., so good they could trick a lot of people! But I sent them pics of my shoes and a link to her page and the company said they are fake. You can contact them as well or I can send you screenshots from them

@leighnajohnson That's not necessary but thanks for offering. I spent so little on these that even if they are really good fakes, I won't bother. I didn't buy them for the brand so I feel less worried if that makes sense. I just wanted something that was similar to Repetto (which I did buy full price at the NYC store) and made with real leather. I make leather shoes for fun so I'm almost certain these "Josefinas" are real leather. Thanks again and enjoy your weekend. Weird time to be alive!

@slei5 i bought my first pair from the website and the second pair from the same lady you did., that’s what raised my suspicion because when you compare the originals to these the quality Is different., which sent me down the rabbit hole of contacting them lol

@leighnajohnson Oops! I didn't see your replies to me. I stopped shopping during quarantine so haven't been checking any messages. Hope you've managed to ride this quarantine okay. I live in NYC so I'm still waiting for our city to reopen... Someday I'll take the plunge and order Josefinas online. Do you own other flats, like Repetto or Margaux? Are Josefinas better than other brands?
