I had my first sale on Poshmark on July 7, 2022; but I have been a buyer on Poshmark, Ebay, ETSY, Mercari and Ruby Lane for several years. During the pandemic I started making tie dye shirts to keep busy at home. Soon after I started making greeting cards and than eventually I was making jewelry. At first I was giving away a lot of my creations to friends and family but as time went by I decided I should try to sell some of my creations online. At first I tried to sell on ETSY but I had zero luck. I also had a lot of nice clothes in plastic tubs waiting for me to fit in them again but realistically I got tired of waiting for that to happen; so I decided to sell them. After that I just got excited about selling online. My husband recently retired and this helps me to make a little extra money and keep busy. Thank you for checking out my closet. maplebetsy @shirlscreations you are doing great! These are my best tips for success 1. sharing is key! Share your own closet 5x a day and to all parties you can 2. List 1-5 new items a day or a re-list counts for items over 60 days 3. Return shares 4. Follow 500 new closets a day 5. participate in parties! Share the “host picks” and congratulate them with a note 6. Consider joining a share group

shirlscreations Hi sweetie, I made most all of the beaded jewelry the rest of the jewelry was mine and I'm selling it. I made most of the tie dye sweatshirts listed but not all of them. Some I bought. That is actually how I got interested in tie dye because I was buying tie dye sweatshirts on ETSY and is was getting expensive. With the pandemic I had lots of time so I gave it a try. It took me a while to figure it out or at least make shirts I would wear or give away.

shirlscreations @geemerc I think you are only the second person who has seen those photo's. It took me a while to figure out how to add them there and I only added them a few weeks ago. Thank for your nice comments on the photos. Some of those are vacation photo's from Savannah, GA in 2014 and Crater Lake, OR in 2014. One photo is my wedding photo from 2017.

shirlscreations All the jewelry that says hand crafted I made. I did not know how all that worked with handmade stuff on here but a few ladies who make handmade things on here explained to me that I needed to change my brand to hand crafted to fit a certain criteria. Some listings I couldn't change because I had already changed the brand too many times.

shirlscreations @theresa_seber There is this secondhand store near me that is kind of small near me that the proceeds go to domestic violence survivors; anyway they don't have a lot of more in the store so some times there clothes are $2.00 on sale. There regular prices are $7.00 jeans, $5.00 tops, $7.00 Sweaters. Shoes are 12.00, boots are 14.00. So their prices are low. For some reason I have found a lot of NWT items there. It is all donations!

shirlscreations @theresa_seber That second hand store gives me the best deals. Goodwill, Value Village and others are more expensive and have less items new with tags. I do shop at those stores as well especially on senior day. Oh, and St Vincent DePaul has a senior day where all tags are half price but you really have to look really hard because a lot of stuff there isn't that great.

shirlscreations @natasposh I hope you and your family have an amazing time in Savannah. It was a dream come true to be able to go there. My husband who was my boyfriend at the time took me because after seeing the movie Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil I fell in love with the beauty of Savannah and I wanted to go someday but I never had money for a trip like that. It was made extra special because we got engaged by the fountain at the park.

fhopecharity I LOVE your “ meet your Posher’s photos! “ I am very, very new ( about one week in for the first time ever here ) and I am so amazed at how wonderful and caring everyone is.
