ess_roc @vanity30 I thankfully haven’t had it happen to me, but it’s wise to be cautious. If someone asks you to email them or otherwise take a transaction off Posh’s platform, don’t do it! They’re likely a scammer. It’s a good idea to wait 3 hours to mail - that’s the window when a buyer still has the ability to cancel. Also a good idea to photograph items when you pack them in case someone tries to open a fraudulent “case” saying an item was damaged when they received it or wasn’t packed carefully.

ess_roc @vanity30 Another tip that might help you get started faster than I did :). You want to make the titles & descriptions as complete & full of info as you can. Packing information that someone might type into Google if they’re looking for an item like yours is especially important to make sure you turn up in as many searches as you can. If you read about search engine optimization (SEO” for Poshmark it’s helpful. And look at similar items that have sold so you see what was successful :).

I live near-ish to a post office that lets you scan packages yourself & put them in a secure box - I’ll take the dress there tomorrow in hopes it’ll start moving on the early side Monday. I’ll try to pack the dress in a way that’ll keep it as wrinkle-free as possible, but planning for a bathroom steam might be wise :). I hope your daughter has a fabulous time at her event!
