skarlyn21 Hi @authenticmerch-- I received my item and I am 99% sure that this item is fake and not "authentic" as you claimed. I will like to return this and get my money back. Please let me know how we can resolve this or I will contact Postmark.

usedluxury @skarlyn21 the wallet you got is authentic.. nothing about it is fake.. its vintage, meaning it will be made out of different materials as they make them in now. If you take he item into any Louis Vuitton dealer or reputable authenticator they will tell you it's real. All my ratings on Poshmark/Mercare excellent. Not one bad review. Not one person saying they received a fake item. I'm sorry but to put this in the nicest way possible, you're wrong.

usedluxury @skarlyn21 I've been authenticating and working with Louis Vuitton items for over 20 years. I know how to tell a real from a fake.. if you don't believe me get it authenticated yourself.

skarlyn21 @authenticmerch okay! I was just taken back back because the material is feels very different then the ones made today. Will take it to make sure it's a vintage. Thank you! Will let you know as soon as I do that!

usedluxury @skarlyn21 @skarlyn21 That's what I figured the issue was, ironically, the materials used back then seem to be more durable then the materials they use now. That wallet is one of my earliest wallets, since the code is only 3 digits that places it early 1980's.. first two digits represent the year, and the last digit(s) represent the month. So that makes that wallet January of 1986. I look forward to your rating after you get it authenticated. Thanks
