rosebisou5 Hey, Skye! Just wanted to welcome you! I know it can be a little overwhelming getting started. If you need any help or have any questions just let me know. I'm a Posh Mentor and I'm always available if you want some guidance or just need someone to chat with about how everything goes. You can reply here or come to my closet. I have a "Let's Chat" Listing set up for Discussions. 💖 ~Saundra 💋

ganttsb @rosebisou5 hey how do I see comments on items in selling I can't see them but it says I have 6

rosebisou5 @ganttsb Where are you seeing a notification that you have 6 Comments? It may be that you have 6 "Comment" Notices in your Newsfeed. If you switch over to that, it will show any and all comments of any sort that have been left under your Listings or anywhere your @ has been tagged. Like this question showed up in my Comments Newsfeed. Is that what you mean, maybe?

rosebisou5 @ganttsb If there are actually comments underneath your listings you just tap on your listing and scroll down past your photos abc description, and that's where Comments and questions about your item will be. 😊

rosebisou5 @ganttsb I'm going to leave you a Comment under your Listing now. 💋

rosebisou5 @ganttsb Just redo your Listing and everything should be working fine now. 😉 Hope it helped! 😘

rosebisou5 @ganttsb I just went to your new listing and seems like Comments are working fine. You just have a new Spam message. Any time you get Spam messages from Scammers flag it as Spam and Poshmark will remove it. Don't interact. I flagged it.

rosebisou5 @ganttsb So it's going to show that you have a Comment. Then you won't have one there anymore when you go back and look after a few minutes.

ganttsb @rosebisou5 good not had a whole of people ask about my item but it's okay

rosebisou5 @ganttsb Well, that's to be expected. It's gonna take some time. In the beginning I thought that things sell right away or at least get lots of views, likes, comments, etc. And when I didn't see that happening with my items, I didn't know what the problem was. Thought I was doing it wrong. It wasn't that, exactly. There are things you can do to help boost your chances of selling. But really it was mostly just that I didn't realize it takes time.

rosebisou5 @ganttsb Poshmark isn't like apps where you sell items locally or put up for bidding online. It's a totally different type of platform. Your Closet is a more of a Shop than simply an account or a profile. It's your own little Store in a sense.

rosebisou5 @ganttsb So when you List something, you're not just putting something up for sale that you're trying to let go of. You're creating a Showpiece that someone can come to your Closet - as if they were walking into a Shoppe - and view on display. When they see it and are interested then they may ask about it.

rosebisou5 @ganttsb Much the same way you might ask someone in a Store about an item that you like; even if you're not necessarily fully intent on buying. You may even be interested; but still may go Shopping other places the rest of the day.. but you keep in the back of your mind that you liked that item at that one particular Shoppe. That's what Likes are pretty much. People want to be able to find it again. Sort of like a Wish List.

rosebisou5 @ganttsb Allllll that said, there's another key piece to the puzzle. You only have one item currently Listed. The more items you have put up in your Closet, the more credibility you have - and the better your chances are of you making a sale. That's especially the case when your one and only listing is an expensive Designer item. You'll have a hard time selling it without some credibility under your belt.

rosebisou5
rosebisou5 @ganttsb Most Poshers are going to shy away from purchasing any type of Designer item from someone who doesn't have a full Closet - and also one who hasn't already sold multiple items and gotten 5 Start reviews where the buyer states that the item they received from you was just as described and you're to be trusted. So it's likely to be a while before it sells. So I'd encourage you to just fill that Closet up wait it out Honey! 😘
