Nearly all items listed have been purchased by me directly from major retailers (e.g., Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks, Bloomingdales, Nordstom, Net-a-Porter, J. Crew, etc.). I only dry clean my dresses (never machine wash) and always do so immediately after wear. Happy to post specific photos and/or measurements of any item for serious inquires. In order to protect my items and prevent fraud, I video document the end-to-end process of packing, labeling and shipping each of my items.

sleekandchicnyc @reereescloset 1,000!?! 😳. Wowzers! I'm not sure I've ever owned that many things in my life 🙂. I think the more detail the better; I just find it hard to get it all in with the character limit. I'm finding a trend with folks who ask for specific measurements (often on several items) and then go ghost! Whereas people who are genuinely interested have read the description, done their own research if need be, and are more likely to make offers, purchase, etc. Do you find this to be true, too?

I don't want to be answering a ton of questions about measurements and then have them never come back! And yes that happens to me too people will ask me something and I think they're going to buy it and then I never hear from them again! Super frustrating!

I just was looking at a closet with 297,000 followers and she doesn't seem to be charging much more than $15 for 80% of her inventory. Even Lily Pulitzer dresses she is selling for only $18! But she might be moving a ton of inventory where as I am selling stuff every other day. This is now my full-time career after being corporate downsized so I am desperate to figure out a way to make a living doing this!

dricha1000 Sensible thing to do AT ALL but I’m known for not being particularly sensible ! I got him for my son Beau who is 22 and disgruntled with the human race . He’s very peaceful , he is my gentle giant at 6’5” and he was born 9 months after we lost our precious baby girl Anjel-Hope . He’s equally as special as all my children and he’s a nice little writer . The puppy is called a Hunky Dory , Hunk for short and he’s a baby husky 💋

I only sell my own pieces from my own physical closets, so don’t have advice for reselling others’ items.

I’ve even met up with some people (pre-COVID) for cocktails, meals and retail shopping, and have gained lasting friends! There are of course a few wackadoodles (aren’t there always?!) - in particular I’m thinking of the spammers who will ask you to send photos of info to email addresses or phone numbers. That’s a big no! Stick to all comms being on the platform for your protection and the buyers’.
