Hi I’m Shar. I just started listing . I wish I had known about Poshmark 2 years ago when I gave away hefty bags of NWT clothing. Ah well…life is like that. For my wardrobe I buy unique signature pieces that flatter my figure and make an outfit stand out( Vince Camuto, Madewell, Top Shop, Liverpool etc and then pair that item with some well made neutral staple items that I have from Old navy , Target, the Rack..you name it. I traveled a lot for my job when I was working and bought quite a few boutique items that simply say “Made in Italy” (I think Italy just thinks you have to accept the fact that everything made there is worth the $300-500 you pay for it (alas they are probably right). I have weighed a size 6-8 most of my life . But 2 years ago I became a size 0-2. So my clothes I will be selling will reflect a gap. I take very very good care of my clothing, purses, accessories. I’m annoying like that. If I add any pictures of myself to my listings , they will most likely be (1) badly taken (by my best friend), (2) I will have very white or very bruised legs (I have leukemia) and I hope they don’t dissuade you from purchasing . I will always try to include a model pic from when I bought something if I’m able as well. Thank you

rosedragonfly hello Shar @southpawz sent me here. She's an amazing person. I want you to know that our Lord has you and your family. He has a plan for all of us. I pray for strength and health for you. I can relate to the pic of you with the cap on. I had to shave for chemo/radiation and I wore caps or scarves. My hair is growing back but I still wear scarves. It was breast cancer for me. You are beautiful. Cancer sucks and can be very lonely and isolating. I'm here if you ever want to talk.

slm_slm @rosedragonfly thank you for your kind words. I’m an oncology RN. I’ve cared for people w/ cancer up until I was too tired to go to work. My Leukemia is incurable- they avoid chemo unless desperate because it shortens your survival . I 🙏 you’re in remission. I have had CLL for 5 years, but symptoms for 2 (15 years is avg. survival - I will make it ). My non hat pics are w/ wigs ❤️❤️😇

I had Ewing Sarcoma for 3 years until they extracted 1/2 of my Proximal Fibula so I’m telling you that you have a ARMY Behind you here. Anything you need. slm_slm @hollychafey thank you for sharing your story . It helps to just know there are wonderful kind people who just come out n droves with prayers and positive thoughts. My Oncologist doesn’t have a lot of answers because this Leukemia is incurable , and the protocol is to watch and wait ..because my CD markers have poor prognosis. And I’m calmer and feel more in control with information. But I’ve given myself up to Gods plan and that has been comforting

My best friend who just recently passed had Hodgkin’s disease when she was 14 then she had breast cancer, heart disease, so 2 heart surgery a double mastectomy 💔recently gave out on her and I’m grateful to know that she love the Lord so much and I will see her again!! 38yrs I ❤️her so just know that you’re in the Lords hands and that is very comforting!! .

rosedragonfly @slm_slm hello sweet lady, I'm so sorry for not responding sooner, it seems to take me awhile. I am in remission post mastectomy but the drugs I'm taking are horrible. I know that the Lord has you, you are his child and he loves you. There are so many prayer warriors on here lifting you up, praying for you and sending you well wishes. You will prevail! I feel honored that we've "met" on Posh. Sending love & 🙏! P.S. Your wig is beautiful, I wish mine looked so natural. 🌹🙏😊

I sent some responses last night but I was so tired I hope they made sense. Just got back from DMV to renew my license (apparently this is the birthday I had to get another pic (😵‍💫) . But now I’m beat; going to get a nap in before kids get home.

If you are comfortable sharing your symptoms . I have tips/tricks that really only oncology RN’s know.I may not respond quickly but I Promise I will always get back. I’m 53 today , spent morning at DMV then breast ultrasound (lump - hopefully benign ). Now going to nap 🎉 Be well

slm_slm @hollychafey I’m so sorry your friend passed so young. I’m at higher risk of getting additional cancers (and unfortunately breast and melanoma are starting ). My only worry are my twins, they are 10. This doesn’t make sense to them . And I’m scared moving here was a bad idea I hear so many comments about who owns/has things ..and I don’t want my kids ever thinking that’s important. I want Gray and Rj to be grounded, humble and kind above all else .

But my last words were that Rob and I grew up in different times..when you could bike to your friends houses. Where we live now parents have to arrange everything, and before Leukemia that was me..school PTA , arranging play dates, being social; Rob just isn’t comfortable w/ that. I’m scared the kids will be lost when I’m gone .

hollychafey @slm_slm that is most imp. I taught my daughter above all else be kind, loving and respectful, she is now a HS PE teacher & Varisty 🏐coach she is good w girls. I❤️👀her. I lost 2 babies so she is my blessing. The Lord has our life planned out so I’m good if it. My dad who passed on Aug was my 🙏 warrior so I know he is up there and I am asking him to watch over you. My hair finally has grown back but I then I lost over half bc of thyroid cancer you believe that.
