l am from Grand Junction, CO I fell in love with a Texas Rodeo Cowboy, married in 1965 & moved to Texas. Being an artist I was enamored with the landscape and vegetation of the area, especially the small Buffalo Gourds along the highways. I began making Christmas balls and "gourd faced" Indian dolls, then started designing jewelry, I leave the gourd in the most natural state possible to bring out the raw beauty.The gourds I use are extremely thick and durable and are sealed front and back.

gourdworkslady Thank you...I love your line of clothing...it is great! I have lots to post but have not had the time to get more on line. I not only have the GourdWorks business but my daughter and I have a shop in town that sells repurposed furniture, collectibles, etc. and we do all the re-purposing, refinishing and upholstery! There never seems to be enough hours in the day. I look forward to being a posher and with my daughters help I will get better. Good luck to you.
