bigbirdbrooks10 Hi. Thanks for your purchase.Unfortunately we had to make an urgent trip down here to Houston bc my great aunt has been hospitalized with COVID. bigbirdbrooks10 @dynerbelle I can ship the boots tomorrow. I did want to let you know that the boots are a little deeper orange now bc my husband thought we should shine them up for you since you’ve been so awesome in waiting. He used mink oil which is actually great for the leather but he didn’t realize that it actually darkens the leather bc his boots are black. I’ll post some Pics. They may actually lighten back up on their own as the mink oil wears off? If you don’t like the deeper shade, no hard feelings.

bigbirdbrooks10 @dynerbelle the tops are chocolate brown. I received them as a Christmas gift last year ( so 11 months I guess) from my mother in law. I posted them somehow (it was not easy or quick! LOL I’ll text them to you now though.

bigbirdbrooks10 Yes I know. I had no idea. He didn’t either and I can’t even be mad at him bc he was just trying to do a nice thing for you. It’s ok if you don’t want them. Seriously. No biggie. Maybe they’ll lighten up or maybe not but I think I’lm pretty sure I’ll still be able to sell them. I’m sorry for the inconvenience. Take care!!

dynerbelle @bigbirdbrooks10 No, you can’t be mad at him. He was only trying to help. I really hate this has happened because I loved the boots, but the new color not so much. Your right, you will still be able to sell them, unless you might be interested in reducing more due to the mishap in color lol. It’s ok, I understand. How will you refund the money? Or do I go through Poshmark to resolve? I am not very Poshmark savvy!

bigbirdbrooks10 @dynerbelle hey….just wanted to let you know that the boots have already lightened up. I mean they’re not back to the original color yet but it appears that the mink oil does get lighten up after it’s absorbed. Lmk what you’d like to do. If you don’t want them, I will have to get the refund issued back to you from Posh I do believe. And I can take a little more off also.

dynerbelle @bigbirdbrooks10 thanks for letting me know. I was thinking I would go $150. I certainly do not mean to insult, I really just don’t know about that new color. If $150 is unacceptable, I too understand. If it’s a no deal, then please issue my refund through Poshmark back to my original payment method if that is how it works. Thanks again for all your trouble.
