chronicstyle @sophia_takesh I’m so glad you asked! NEVER respond to someone trying to get you to interact outside of Poshmark. This is a scam!! They are very clever with coming up with ‘reasons’ they need to to text them or email them. I almost fell for it once, because they promised to finalize the sale through Poshmark.

chronicstyle @sophia_takesh they essentially use high pressure sales tactics to make you feel both rushed, but also excited about making the sale so you don’t question it when they run into some kind of urgent problem when they “try” to buy it. They’ll pressure you to “resolve” the issue as fast as possible, and send you a bogus email for you to “contact Poshmark and confirm your identity” AKA identity theft.
