I just went vegetarian! Next step is giving up cheese and leather! Cheese will be tough for me minus the knowledge of what they go through to produce it

@napchagnon Congratulations! You're already making so much more of a difference than most people... Trust me, it took me some time too, to be 100% cruelty-free. I went from flexitarianism to 'pescetarian with vegan ambitions' :-D Consuming dairy is really just... inter-species adult breastfeeding. Haha, sorry, I just keep on ranting, happens every.single.time.

@shopnaway Hey so I do have a pretty urgent question! :-) I just received an offer on some shoes I want to sell fast. Two people are interested, but one made an offer which I would accept, the other girl needs to wait until pay day. What do you do in this situation?

hey there. I am glad I happen to be online now. Did they both use the offer tool? If so, go ahead and accept the offer on the one you want. Then follow-up with the other person as a courtesy and say you are sorry but you receive two offers on the shoes.

You won't be rude. It is not your fault she could not pay today. Poshmark is about getting a great deal and timing is everything. 😊. Simply apologize and like you said see if she would like something else in your closet. It is all about good customer service. 😘

@bergers Just wanted to mention that I totally applaud your choice to be vegan. I am a vegetarian edging that way. I would never wear fur and I don't follow or share poshers who sell it in their closet. I don't by new shearling, leather, down, wool or cashmere but I have bought 2nd hand shoes and purses. At least they are getting another use before being discarded. That explains the leather in my listings. Thanks so much for visiting! ❤️

@baricd Thank you for your comment. I always like it when Poshers comment on me being a vegan because that choice affects my whole lifestyle. It affects my food, body care, the clothes I wear and yes, sometimes the people I like or don't like. To me it felt very liberating finally switching to veganism and I feel it is the only right choice for me.

@baricd I am convinced there are many people out there who are capable of going vegan, but maybe they have the wrong view of it or maybe they are scared they will have to eat kale and quinoa for the rest of their lives :-) I like to be a that motivator, who gives others that much needed extra 'push'. If you're already vegetarian, you might as well avoid more animal suffering (dairy, honey) by going vegan!

@bergers I love your enthusiasm! Keep on keeping on and spreading your message. I am afraid that most people either just don't care or simply don't think about how what they do affects animals. Once you become sensitive to that, you can't unsee it. Institutionalized animal cruelty is so ingrained in human culture it's going to take time to change it. I would be overjoyed if people even took the first step toward awareness, say "Meatless Monday". Incremental change can happen!

@baricd I couldn't agree with you more. I know the world will never go vegan or even stop the factory farming, but little changes here and there do make a difference. Here's an advocate who makes it, to me at least, impossible to argue veganism, his name is Gary Yourofsky.
