sophhill96 @xhburns sure! So when you trade with someone it’s an agreement between the two of you on the honor system. Both of you decrease the price of your item you’ll be trading to $3 so that a shipping label will be activated by Poshmark. You then purchase each others items, (totaling less than $10 when you incorporate shipping costs), and ship them thus completing the trade.

sophhill96 @xhburns Before agreeing to trade it’s good to see if the person you’re trading with has good trading history and you can find that in their love notes on their profile. Since you are a first time trader, it’s likely that a seasoned trader with trade history will ask you to ship your item first so that they know they can trust you.

sophhill96 @xhburns Once the seasoned trader receives your item as described, they will then send you the item you bought from them and hopefully leave you a love note detailing their positive trade experience with you. The important thing to remember is that Poshmark will not help you in the event of a bad trade because while Poshmark allows trading, it does not provide the same insurance as when you purchase an item outright.
