bees_tique @soteria1 once you sell an item you don't get paid until the buyer accepts it (unless they received it and didn't hit accept for 3 whole days, on the 4th day it automatically gets accepted). That money will go to your redeemable balance in poshmark. You can either choose to get a check or you can sign up to put it in your bank account.

bees_tique @soteria1 to get to the balances on the app you go to the banner at the bottom, click your username (it's on the right), and then at the top click the green money sign and you'll see all the balance information.

soteria1 @brianamcgann I don’t see a green money sign after I click on my user name at the bottom right of the banner. Maybe because I haven’t sold anything yet? So where in the app do you enter your bank info? Are you able to enter before any sales or do you have to wait till you sell something? Sorry for all the questions. I read through their faq & couldn’t find the answer.

bees_tique @soteria1 I'm not fully sure, I just waited until I sold something and when I chose the option of having the balance sent to my bank account it gave me the option to put in all my information.

soteria1 @brianamcgann ok sounds good. Thanks so much for your help! I emailed Poshmark but they’re not nearly as fast as you were! Looks like you’re pretty experienced. I see you have a boutique set up! How long have you been doing this?

bees_tique @soteria1 No boutique for me, I haven't set that up, but I do have my "closet" that's full of used and new items 😊. I've been doing Posh for only a little over 6 months now, but I am very very active with it so it feels like it's been years lol. I was so active that in 3 weeks of joining I became a Posh ambassador!

soteria1 @brianamcgann Really! Do you buy a lot or just mainly sell? I have tons of handbags, shoes & clothing that I’m no longer in need of due to retirement. I have many Downey & Burke purses & Logo by Lori Goldstein tops and tons of boots & shoes. Do you think I can make any money here?

bees_tique @soteria1 I mainly sell. This is my mini job, as I am a college student and wanted some kind of job that I could do from home to help with funding for school. I definitely think you can sell those items! I begin at "higher" prices and once people like my items I lower my prices, usually 10% at a time. (When you go 10% lower on your price it emails and notifies The likers)

soteria1 @brianamcgann when someone buys from Poshmark, isn’t it done through the app? I just received email from a Poshmark follower that wanted more photos of shoes, which I sent, now is asking for name address and phone to send cashiers check to and wants me to remove listing and offered more than listing price. This is illegal on this site isn’t it? Sounds fishy to me.

bees_tique @soteria1 I got a lot of them when I first joined Posh. They typically target higher priced items. I think with time they should dwindle away. I don't remember getting any comments recently on my items from scammers.

soteria1 @msavitt Thanks so much! I was kind of a Logo junky before I retired and gained 40 lbs! Now have a closet full that I’m unable to wear! Also have no need for them since my new wardrobe is mainly PJs and sweats! LoL! Keep looking as I have many more Logos to add!
