deborahwagner35 Good morning! Thank you for the offer on the gown. I just want to make sure that you saw that there is a stain on the hem. It was professionally cleaned and preserved so I don't know what the stain is. The wedding was in a historic hotel with original hardwood floors. My husband also wanted me to mention the vintage Ray-Bans that I have. They are from the 50's. Cat eye with crystals. Maybe we could bundle? LMK.

deborahwagner35 @sparkle_magic Everything is original including the case. The rhinestones are so cool and very different from what we use nowadays but yes they are original. I added nothing to these. I didn't want to take away from the value.

deborahwagner35 @sparkle_magic I am adding a few more pictures of the arms and the current condition. They are cracked in the same spot on both sides but this is just from age and being in the case (in my Mom's hope chest). The crack is not clear through yet. In other words they haven't been glued and they are still in one piece. They were appraised at $175 8 years ago in this condition. I was told to be super careful with the arms.

deborahwagner35 I added a few more pictures of the arms. I believe the wire in the arms is keeping them intact. I think they are best as a collectable to prevent any more damage. I would take $100 in the current condition.

deborahwagner35 @sparkle_magic The dress is already in the mail, sorry. I had to unfortunately pay extra shipping costs on the dress, underpinning and veil because it was over 5 lbs. and the box itself is huge. I shipped it in the same box it was in when it was cleaned and preserved. I didn't want to risk it getting damaged so I just kept it in the big box.

He loved the crystals and that they were original to the glasses. That's where the $175 came from. Just make an offer and I will get them out to you tomorrow. Thank you!!!

sparkle_magic @deborahwagner35 Fast shipment & excellent service. Top notch. But to be honest I was a little disappointed in the glasses. I don't believe them to be Ray Bans. It is missing the B&L on the lens (bausch lomb) and Ray Ban USA should have been etch in the arm. There are no Ray Ban markings at all. So I won't be able to add them to my collection of other vintage Ray Ban glasses. Thanks anyway.

deborahwagner35 @sparkle_magic Did they do all of that back in the 1950's? They are definitely Ray-Bans. My Mom was doing bathing suit modeling back in the '50's and she was wearing Jansen swim suits (2 piece) and Ray-Bans. My Dad had lots of photos of her on the runway but after my Mom passed away his new wife tossed everything. I had a collector look at them too to get a price. He didn't say that they were not Ray-Bans. He just kept saying that he couldn't believe the crystals were intact.

sparkle_magic @deborahwagner35 here's a tip from a closet hoarder hang on to the things that you love. especially if they're your mom's you can always hold that item and I'll take you back to that moment in time. A friend of mine convinced me to donate some special family items and now I'm in regret.

I just wanted someone to have them who would appreciate them so I held out for you. That's why I dropped the price $75. We are thinking of moving on to our boat and travel up and down the East coast. I am clearing house and some of my Posh stuff that I bought specifically to sell.

deborahwagner35 I so hope now that you love the gown. I put the underpinning and veil in the box too. You could probably sell just that if you don't need it. I had Poshers asking to buy just that but I wanted to keep it all together. I think it's a gorgeous gown. I really, sincerely hope you do too. Again, no family member was interested in it (all boys).
